First thing is, you will need the following spells to make sets: any zap type spell (prefferably a five way zap), paralyze, remove paralysis and blind. Try to put the monster in the set area by using paralyze. If you miss your mark, move yourself over next to where it should be so that the monster will be lead to the right spot. If the monster is attacking someone other than you, zap it a couple times to get its attention. Put it in place and paralyze then blind in that order. Once you have a monster in a set cast blind on it to keep it there longer.
Common set types look like this:

Inferno:
X

After you have it blinded/paralyzed, move on to the next creature until the set is complete. Try to unparalyze then paralyze the monster again after you blind it, and make sure the blind is still there. You will have to constantly blind, para and unpara the monsters in order to keep them in place along with keeping the other monsters from killing the poet or anyone else.

The mage is the one in control of the monsters, which is the hardest part! You need to be able to cast fast and think on your feet. When you practice this, you will find that it is easier to read about it than actually do it.
Alizarin is an official clan in the kingdom of Nagnang. Alizarin's roleplay is based on the following premise:

Throughout history, Unseen creatures have dabbled in the lives of unsuspecting humans, instigating wars and wreaking all sorts of havoc. Some people have the special ability of Sight and can see the Unseen. These people are especially vulnerable to attack from the Unseen because the Unseen do not like to be discovered.

Misunderstood, alone, and vulnerable, those with the Sight worked in isolation for centuries to combat the Unseen. Alizarin clan was founded to offer a Haven to those with the Sight, as well as to all who require sanctuary.

Alizarin members uphold the principles of integrity, conscience, compassion, and discipline. Their constant exposure to the Unseen has the side effect of turning their hair red.
Crafting Limits
* You can do all gathering crafts up to Legendary.
* You can do all manufacturing crafts until Accomplished, Then specialize in one to reach Legendary skill in that craft. Food preparing can be done to Legendary regardless.
* You can only gain skill past Accomplished in one craft of the following refining skills: Smithing, Carpentry, Tailoring, and Jeweling.
* You can be Legendary in Cheffing regardless of devotion to other crafts.
* Only Mages and Poets may become Scribes or Alchemists, but not both.

Ways To Advance Faster In A Craft
*Always perform your skill during your Totem Time.
*Use crafting tiles if they are available.
*If your clan has a crafting room, such as Alizarin, Sun Moon, Dharma, Silla, The Forsaken, Koguryo Army, Buyan Army, or Phoenix, try to take advantage of it. These rooms normally have a bank NPC allowing you to craft without having to leave to acquire additional raw materials.
*Concentrate Gathering skills on a single charachter, for example do not do woodcutting on all 4 charachters. Instead concentrate on one charachter and transfer the meterials you get to the charachter you will be doing that craft on for Ee san culture or the Poet Sun quest. Also if You both Mine and Smelt on one charachter and need to get Ee san on a different one continue smelting on the same charachter.
