Mages are the designated spellcasters of the Nexus community. They're duties are encapsulated in strengthening attack and defense in allies and decreasing attack and defense in enemies. Soloing for mages is often tedious and thus many mages, even at low levels, are encouraged to fight alongside stronger fighters. Thus, aiding the group and earning massive amounts of experience.

Mages also require the most experience to reach 99, thus hunting with stronger players is encouraged.

== Roleplay ==
The Koguryo Spy Guild of the old days was an unquestionably elite collection of individuals. Their names--Hobart, Chongun, HanSu to name a few--were certain to inspire awe among members of the community, especially rogues. These days, they are often revealed by an X-shaped scar somewhere on their bodies, most frequently the arm, and it would not be wise to boast of having such a scar were it not given to you by the KSG. The Koguryo Spy Guild since its founding has dominated the circles of espionage in the Kingdoms. There have existed at times smaller groups of spies, members of which, if they were good enough at what they did, might have received the scar. If not, they would disappear. The guild has had a few more notable rival organizations in its time; there has been a long-standing tension between the organization and the [[Koguryo Army | Koguryo Royal Army]]. Spies were formerly not allowed to serve in the army, though the [[Buya Army | BIA]] and later the [[Nagnang Army]] always made use of their talent. Recently, however, it seems the relationship between the two organizations is warming up. The KSG has also had a longstanding rivalry with a group named Black Thorn, which makes an appearance from time to time. Members of the guild are usually disinclined to speak about their work openly; they often work or pretend to work different professions. Some cannot shake their darker nature, while others remain amiable to the last.

Death pile

When a person dies outside of [[PK]] in Nexus, their character becomes a [[ghost]]. When this happens, a small number of [[items]] from their [[inventory]] are dropped on the floor beneath them. This is called a Deathpile. A Deathpile will remain protected for a short while after it is dropped, preventing anyone else from stealing the items. Only people who are currently [[grouped]] with the dead person, AND were [[grouped]] at the moment when the person died are able to pick up the deathpile.

As a beginning warrior, I found this web site:

The most difficult thing about being a warrior for myself was the need to buy expensive
weopons and armor, and also good food such as bear liver for emergency healing. I spent alot of time in the Rat caves from level 15 or so and sold Ginseng in Hamgyoung-Namdo and Topaz
from Centipedes to other players. I also killed alot of squirrels for acorns!

When I could use the flank spell, I began to gather wool and sell it to weavers.
Flank attacks make it easy to hunt Sheep. Now at level 32, I began weaving myself!

Around level 36 I began hunting in the Iron Labinryth. The bears were dangerous but
because they dropped alot of livers, I could find enough food to keep going.

There are many Warrior spells that require fox furs. So I spent alot of time
in those caves. I think the Kugnae has more Sun Foxes than the Buya fox caves.

After I passed level 40 I began hunting in the Mythical Rabbits. They drop amber
and provide alot of experience.

[[Kugnae]] is the capital city of the country of [[Koguryo]]. [[Kugnae]] is the 2nd largest city in [[NexusTK]], the first being [[Buya]]. Though not as popular as the larger city (or perhaps because of it), [[Kugnae]] is still a very enjoyable place. It is sometimes a bit hard to get around, and even old players can still got lost there. [[Kugnae]] can be selected as a starting location for new players. [[Kugnae]]'s gates lead many places. The northern gate leads to the south-east section of the [[Wilderness]]. The eastern gate leads to [[Dae shore]]. The southern gate leads past the [[Graveyard]], in to [[Southern Koguryo]] and eventually [[Nagnang]].

I think it is best because of a few reasons. One it is easy to find what you are looking for. Also, it is fairly consolidated but not all crammed onto one page. The most important thing is that each items still gets its own namespace [[Sonhi pipe]] for instance AND we can also have info for types of items (ie. [[Pipes]] which will bring up [[Sonhi pipe]] which will give you even more details]]. This can be useful when referring not to any specific item but rather groups of items. Example: An entry about Carnages might include the phrase: '''"Be sure to bring a bunch of [[Pipes]] with you"''' which would then link the reader to lots of pipes, instead of saying: '''"Be sure to bring some [[Herb pipe]]s with you"''' which gives you only information about Herb pipes.

it really looks good. I think it's a good entrance to the item section. What it also could use is a way to search for items because sometimes you're trying to find info on items you have no idea what they are.

I moved the old main page to [[Getting Started]]. Set up an initial draft for the new main page. The idea was to present information to the reader right away. Readers who frequent the wiki will not want to see a greeting every time, but instead get some news perhaps. The items under "Recent Events" should really be links to articles about the events. Well, I bought the nexuswiki.com domain. I tried moving the domains and also upgrading to the latest beta version of mediawiki. Everything worked fine except the domain transfer, which kept reverting to zaventh.com instead of nexuswiki.com. At any rate, I restored the database back to its latest version so continue to use zaventh.com/wiki for now.

Nagnang Warrior Quest

This is the quest where a Warrior must run through a Cave of Trials in Nagnang in order to earn their first shield.

To initiate this quest, you must head to Nagnang and find the Warrior Guild (0029,0057). Click on the Guildmaster, Shield and select Shield. He will ask you to slay a Green Squirrel, which is easy enough to do. Gate to East Gate and head due south. At (0124, 0154) there is a field full of Green Squirrels. Collect their pelt and return. He will tell you that you are ready for the Cave of Trials. Head to the cave at (0010, 0050).

There is a certain strategy required to successfully complete the Nagnang Shield Quest. First, it is crucial that you do not kill ANY of the red and blue animals on your last run. There are seven rooms in total. The rooms are as follows:

Havoc

Maelstrom

Crystal Path

Formations

Jeweled Rows

Objective

There are animals in the first five rooms, and you must reach Objective without killing any red or blue animals on your final run.

1) Make your way to Jeweled Rows, killing whatever is necessary. Once inside that room, stand at the center of the west wall and allow all the animals to flock towards you. After the majority of the animals are against/near the west wall, gateway out and return to the entrance.

2) Repeat the process to Formations. Gate and return.

3) Repeat for Crystal Path, Maelstrom and Havoc.

4) With all the animals waiting against the west wall, your final run should be fairly clear of blockage. Try hard not to stop and keep clear of obstacles. Riding a horse will greatly increase your chances of success. To complete the quest you MUST reach Objective and touch the statue without having killed ANY red or blue animals on your final run.

Once completed you will be returned to the Inn and the Nagnang Shield will be in your inventory.
