NexusTK is set apart from other games because of its small community. Subpaths, both PC and NPC, are a major part of the community.
Player run
These paths are headed by an Elder, and new members are added by a Guide. They hold events for the community and promote roleplay. The current 12 are listed below, along with the extinct Shadow subpath.
Any character at or above level 99 can join a NPC path if they meet the requirements by doing the NPC Subpath Quest.
Clans
Clans are a unique feature in Nexus. They provide a common bond to players and allow them to interact together as a family. Each clan has certain qualities and characteristics. Members of a clan can return to their hall by way of a Kindred talisman.
Unofficial Clans
Unofficial Clans are clans that are undergoing the Tribunal process to be recognized as official clans of the kingdom. During this stage of the emergence of a clan they have no clan hall, clan titles, or any other official clan powers.

* Alizarin
* Ja Meh Im
* The Intrepid
* The Virtuous

Armies
Armies function in much the same way as clans. Their Primogens consist of Generals. They are led by the Royal families of their kingdoms. Each army is different, just as each clan is different.

Nagnang Army http://users.nexustk.com/../items/00272_00.gif

Cave Information
In NexusTK, players often call dungeons "caves". Other than the different use of terminology, there is essentially no difference between "dungeons" and "caves"

Vortex
A popular hunting dungeon for level 99+ players. See Vortex cave requirements.

Mythic Caves
Extremely popular hunting grounds for players of almost all levels. See Mythic cave requirements.

Carnages
Carnages are an important part of Nexus. There are four types of carnages include Riches, Bloodlust, Elixir war and Fox Hunts. Carnages by definition are a massive slaughter, a war between opposing sides. In Nexus they are organized battles run by carnage hosts held at specific dates and times.
Ju jak is the red phoenix, and is the totem god of Mages. This does not mean that you MUST choose Ju jak as your totem if you are a Mage, but its Totem Helm is geared the most towards that path.
NexusTK is set apart from other games because of its small community. Subpaths, both PC and NPC, are a major part of the community.

Unofficial Clans are clans that are undergoing the Tribunal process to be recognized as official clans of the kingdom. During this stage of the emergence of a clan they have no clan hall, clan titles, or any other official clan powers.

Armies
Armies function in much the same way as clans. Their Primogens consist of Generals. They are led by the Royal families of their kingdoms. Each army is different, just as each clan is different.

Mages are the primary spell casters of NexusTK. They get spells that can affect animals, as well as spells that do direct damage. For example, at the 63rd insight, Mages get one of the most useful spells in the game "Paralyze". Paralyze completely freezes creatures for a short time, making them unable to attack or move.

Mages also get spells that weaken a creature's armor, making them take more damage. Although Mages get direct damage spells, they quickly become inadequate. Until, that is, level 99 when they get the incredibly powerful spell "Hellfire," which does damage based on mana.

Mages are one of the most difficult classes to play as in NexusTK. They have the lowest health and armor, making them die faster. They also need the more experience points to level up than any other class. However, there is a plus side to this, as Mages are often one of the most sought-after classes in the game. Mages are always welcome on hunts.
Not only can they heal people better than any other class in the game, but they can also cast buffing spells that enhance the armors of other characters. In addition, they can weaken the armors of enemy critters. Poets are always needed on a hunt, and even give a slight experience bonus when hunting with them. Not only are Poets able to heal incredibly well, but at level 99, they are granted the ability to raise the dead. So, if you're fighting that dragon boss who suddenly decides to hellfire you to death, a Poet can bring you back. Not, that is, without the consequences of normal death.
Roleplay
Barbarians from around the lands follow the same traits as their ancestors have many years ago. Barbarians from Buya, Kugnae, Nagnang, the Neutral lands, and many other areas share the same traits: Protect your brethren, humble your foes, survive all challenges.

A temper of a Barbarian ranges from person to person. When angered, their rage could last hours, days, months, even years. The personality of the Barbarian is what controls how he reacts to a threat to himself, which is usually violent.

Grudges against other groups, people, organizations, or towns may last for a long time. Once you have angered a Barbarian, it is rather hard to get his trust back once again from him. An Enemy to one Barbarian, is an enemy to the rest of his brethren. A person who is marked an enemy of the Barbarians is not to be looked upon as proud, but more as marked for death by their hands.

In addition to grudges held against others, Barbarians refer to their most hated enemy as a Townie. Most of the Barbarian Ancestors were of Sonhi Origin. Most Barbarians still speak like Sonhi, yet should never be considered 'stupid', which usually leads that laughing man to his grave.

The Clans are not a place for ANY barbarian. A Barbarian needs no civilian or city support. His brotheren, strong back, and his determination to survive all challenges is all he needs in his mind. For a barbarian to join forces with anything representing the cities is to be looked on in shame. The barbarians do not need clans, they are survivors, not politicians, not sheep, not townies. They are not members of any kingdom, but live in the Wilderness.

Survival is the strongest trait of any Barbarian. 'Simple Survivor' is what they are. They can last extremely long lengths of time without help from other people. Their superior skill in hunting, scavenging, knowledge of plants and lands put them ahead of any Townsman in the trial of survival.

Barbarians have pride in being the best skilled warriors who are the rulers and leaders of their own fate and path. Their honor is held for their brothering whom they protect with and trust with their lives.

Along with their pride, they are a close bunch of warriors. They think of their brethren, as family and put them before anyone else. A threat to one Barbarian is a threat to his family and pride, which become not a private matter, but now, a family matter to us.

Brothers and sisters all alike help on another. From the little debates, to the biggest of fights, Barbarians will always, and have always stood by one another in unity through the thin and thick, the barbarians always had each other to talk to and rely on.

Their strong bond, quick thinking, temper, and pride put them above the rest. They think as individuals, fight as one, and act in unity. They are Barbarians, Survivors alone, and unstoppable as one.

Ohaeng means balance.

Introduced during an event over Christmas and New Year's in 2000-2001, there was a great deal of confusion at first about this. At first, there were minions all over various regions of the kingdoms, centred around the Wilderness. A short while later, a temple appeared with even more minions and even more strange things inside. At one point Ming-Ken, Ohaeng, and Kwi-Sin went to the various guildmasters and "settled the aethers" that had come from them. The people had no idea what was about to happen.

After this, when people wandered through the temple in the Wilderness, they were randomly asked questions about the alignments. If you answered them correctly, you became devoted and a follower of that alignment. After the event, you simply need to go to the various temples and answer the questions. The Ohaeng temple is in the Wilderness.

Ohaeng is the balance between life and death. Always trying to stay between two extremes, not tipping the scales in favour of one or the other.

For rogues, mages, and poets there are no obvious changes for becoming Ohaeng, apart from the general shortening of aethers on most spells. For warriors, instead of your whirlwind bringing you to 10 vitality, you sacrifice 10% of the power and remain with 10% of your vitality that you started with.

Other Information
* Many believe that the now-disbanded Shadow subpath was the precursor to Ohaeng.
* The Ohaeng Shrine is located in the Wilderness at coordinates 77, 184.

The Kwi-Sin temple is in the Arctic Village.
For rogues, mages, and poets there are no obvious changes for becoming Kwi-Sin, apart from the general shortening of aethers on most spells. For warriors, your whirlwind remains the same as if unaligned, bringing you to 10 vitality.
